Privacy Policy

LocalPicLab is built around local browser processing for common image workflows.

Image processing

Core image tools process files in your browser by default. Your selected images are not uploaded by these tools unless a future feature clearly asks you to send a file to a server.

Original files

The tools create new output files for download. They do not modify the original files stored on your device.

Advertising and analytics

LocalPicLab may use advertising and privacy-respecting analytics to operate the site and understand aggregate usage. Third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.

Usage statistics

LocalPicLab counts tool usage so we can see which tools are useful and where visitors come from. Each event records the tool name, the action (page view, processing started, download), the number of images in that batch, the page path, how you reached the site (referrer domain or UTM parameters), and request metadata supplied by our hosting provider such as IP address, country, region, city, and device type.

We use the IP address only to count unique visitors and to spot abuse. Detailed event records are kept for a maximum of 120 days and then deleted automatically; longer-term statistics are stored as aggregate counts that no longer contain IP addresses. We do not set tracking cookies, we do not build advertising profiles, and we never transmit your image data, file names, or metadata — those stay in your browser. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, no usage event is recorded.

To ask for removal of a stored event, contact us with the approximate time of your visit.
